Production Manager (Gas Turbines)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; on-site shop-floor role

What you will do

• Manage a unionized shop floor of assembly and component inspection technicians building and overhauling aero-derivative gas turbines.
• Dispatch and prioritize daily work to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Review engine assembly status, resolve production stoppages, and ensure modules and complete engines are delivered on schedule.
• Oversee shop-floor employee administration, booking hours, competency development, and training needs.
• Identify tooling and equipment requirements and support maintenance activities.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, Lead Hand, Team Leader, or in a similar role in a unionized industrial environment.
• Experience using manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Strong coaching, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven approach with effective problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of processes, procedures, and quality-focused operations.
• Ability to work at the Montreal, Quebec production facility in Canada.
