Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing process routings, bills of operation, bills of material, and raw material requirements.
• Investigate tooling, prototype parts, equipment performance, manufacturing methods, and cost inputs to improve productivity.
• Establish operation sequences, work centers, production rates, and time standards through process and time studies.
• Investigate manufacturing problems, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement of existing standards.
• Perform engineering activities throughout the work-order lifecycle while meeting cycle-time and quality targets.
• Collaborate with other departments and assist the CAM group with programming, tooling, and manufacturing-process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Work experience with or knowledge of computer-assisted equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of analytical ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
