Lead Social Media Manager (Gaming)

Location: Leamington Spa, United Kingdom office, with flexible working and banked Work From Home days.

What you will do

• Lead social media operations across planning, announcements, launch, and post-launch phases for the PC and console portfolio.
• Oversee content creation, platform management, workflows, standards, tooling, and KPIs across X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Coordinate social media planning with the Community counterpart to align priorities and create player-focused go-to-market and lifecycle experiences.
• Monitor portfolio-wide risks, resource conflicts, bottlenecks, opportunities, and team capacity.
• Manage assigned games, develop campaigns, engage communities, and measure success metrics with development teams.
• Lead, delegate, mentor, and develop Social Media team members across content creation, moderation, engagement, and stakeholder management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with expertise in platform dynamics, content creation, trends, and video game culture.
• Experience setting and meeting KPIs and connecting social media inputs and outputs to business metrics.
• Proven people management experience, including leading, delegating, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to organise workloads, prioritise by effort and impact, design processes, and meet deadlines reliably.
• Ability to convey complex ideas and optimise workflows to achieve business objectives.
