Sr. Manager, Finance - Distribution and Logistics (San Diego / Hybrid)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; hybrid with 2–3 in-office days per week and additional on-site presence as needed. Must reside in the San Diego area and be able to commute to the corporate offices.

Base salary: $141,600–$212,400 per year, plus eligible variable cash programs and potential equity.

What you will do

• Lead the financial operating framework for global logistics and distribution, global trade and compliance, packaging engineering, cost-to-deliver activities, and regional supply chain operations.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and driver-based models for freight, duties, tariffs, headcount, operating expenses, capital expenses, and logistics costs.
• Track and validate savings from logistics, trade compliance, packaging, tariff mitigation, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Build financial models and business cases for distribution centers, regional networks, customer delivery, warehouse strategy, and supply chain transformation programs.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Accounting, Operations, Packaging Engineering, and Finance leadership to resolve issues and improve forecast accuracy and gross margin visibility.
• Present risks, opportunities, financial impacts, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leaders while driving accountability for committed savings.

Requirements

• Must reside in the San Diego area and be able to work onsite in San Diego as required by business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of progressive Finance experience, including operations, supply chain, logistics, global trade, or manufacturing-related finance, plus 3–6 years of management experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, gross margin, freight, duties, tariffs, cost-to-deliver, and supply chain cost drivers.
• Experience with driver-based forecasting, business cases, savings tracking, UAT, post-implementation benefit validation, and transformation programs.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to communicate financial risks and operational drivers to senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, TM1, Cognos BI, or similar planning and reporting systems.
