Security Generalist (AI Healthcare)

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Define, lead, and execute the security roadmap across cloud, AI, data, applications, IT, and incident response.
• Harden AWS, infrastructure, CI/CD, and data warehouse environments toward secure-by-default operation.
• Design IAM, SSO, SAML, just-in-time access, employee lifecycle, and endpoint security workflows.
• Secure AI tools, coding agents, application features, and the software development lifecycle.
• Build vulnerability management, security detections, investigation, and incident-response capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, product, legal, GTM, IT, and employees to balance security, compliance, and delivery speed.

Requirements

• Experience across multiple security domains, including cloud, application, data, IT, identity, or incident response.
• Ability to design and develop security automations and workflows, including with AI coding agents.
• Experience with IAM workflows such as Okta, SSO, SAML, and JIT provisioning.
• Experience hardening AWS and CI/CD environments, managing vulnerabilities, and securing MacOS or BYOD endpoints through MDM.
• Ability to investigate alerts and create and tune environment-specific detections.
• Experience in an early-stage startup, with healthcare data and HIPAA, or with SOC 2 controls is required across the listed security background.
