Finance Functional Lead (Oracle Fusion Cloud)

What you will do

• Own the Oracle Fusion Financials product vision, roadmap, backlog, sprint planning, and delivery across core finance modules.
• Lead finance-domain initiatives end to end, including solution design, functional configuration, testing, training, documentation, upgrades, and production stability.
• Partner directly with the Controller, senior Finance leadership, and accounting teams to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Govern an offshore managed service partner responsible for keep-the-lights-on support and service-level performance.
• Design and deliver consolidations, intercompany eliminations, ARCS, Project Accounting, Lease Accounting, reporting, and integrations with adjacent finance applications.
• Drive AI and intelligent automation across close, billing, reconciliations, travel and expense, tax, and treasury processes while maintaining audit readiness.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience owning or supporting Finance ERP platforms in IS&T or IT, including Oracle ERP implementations.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials experience covering functional configuration, BIP/OTBI reporting, data analysis, testing, and production support.
• Deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including record-to-report, close, billing, revenue, cost accounting, tax, treasury, and FP&A.
• Experience with consolidations and eliminations, SOX controls, audit support, regulated environments, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing offshore MSPs, integrating best-of-breed finance applications, and partnering with Controllers and senior Finance leaders.
• Strong project and program management skills, Agile delivery experience, executive communication, documentation, and operational governance.

Nice to have

• Big 4 or Tier-1 consulting experience delivering Oracle Finance or enterprise ERP solutions.
• Oracle Fusion ERP or Financials certifications.
• Project Accounting or Lease Accounting implementation experience.
• Experience supporting finance platforms through M&A, integrations, or rapid business growth.
• Life sciences, diagnostics, or medical device industry experience.
