Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Cloud) (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable cloud-native backend systems and microservices for orchestrating a global robotic fleet.
• Develop real-time APIs and data pipelines for robot monitoring, control, and data-driven operations.
• Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud deployments, and operational automation.
• Establish observability, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery standards.
• Contribute to secure architecture and compliance initiatives covering ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Architect distributed systems for high performance, reliability, and security at global scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience building production-grade backend and cloud systems.
• Strong experience with Golang and Spring Boot.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Kafka, Redis, and TimescaleDB.
• Experience with real-time communication technologies such as gRPC, MQTT, WebSocket, or WebRTC.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, plus Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, cloud security, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with robots, robotic fleets, or IoT devices in production.
• Familiarity with OpenRMF, ROS, or robotics communication stacks.
• Experience with smart building systems, access control, or IoT platforms.
• Experience integrating hardware and software in real-world systems.
