Software Engineering Manager II - Transaction Platform (Golang)

What you will do

• Lead a team of 10+ engineers responsible for the end-to-end transaction lifecycle for merchant partners.
• Design and implement highly reliable, scalable services for order, finance, insights, and feedback systems.
• Evaluate technology stacks and improve platform performance, availability, and scalability.
• Partner with product, design, analytics, and data science leaders to shape the roadmap, define merchant-focused metrics, and design experiments.
• Set engineering strategy, mentor junior and senior engineers, and participate in code and design reviews.
• Contribute to interview loops and hiring for the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems and large-scale, highly available online services.
• 2+ years of experience as a software engineering manager with hands-on technical solutioning experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, system performance, and scaling.
• Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and workflows.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in any programming language and willingness to work with Golang.
