AI Automation Engineer V (n8n)

What you will do

• Own and execute enterprise AI automation and transformation initiatives using n8n as a core workflow orchestration platform.
• Design secure, scalable AI-enabled workflows, intelligent agents, and decisioning frameworks that reduce manual work and improve business processes.
• Architect API-first and event-driven integrations connecting enterprise systems, automation platforms, and AI services.
• Establish standards for development, deployment, monitoring, reliability, governance, CI/CD, and release management.
• Create reusable workflow templates, automation frameworks, prompt patterns, and AI agent accelerators.
• Lead technical reviews and incident analysis while mentoring engineers and implementation partners on responsible AI and workflow engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of experience in enterprise automation, workflow engineering, integration engineering, or platform architecture.
• Deep hands-on experience with n8n or Boomi, including enterprise automation solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong expertise in API-first and event-driven architectures, REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, JWT, and secure integration practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation governance, observability, reliability practices, and enterprise-scale platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including AI, machine learning, and large language model integrations.
• Ability to identify high-value AI automation opportunities, measure business impact, influence technical direction, and mentor engineers.
