SDET (Java/Selenium/AWS)

Location: Winston-Salem, NC; hybrid with 3 days onsite

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for distributed, web-based, and message-driven applications.
• Build and enhance robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Test applications deployed in AWS cloud environments, including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality engineering, continuous improvement, and DevOps automation.
• Identify technical and operational risks and automate testing to minimize errors in payment infrastructure.

Requirements

• Hybrid work in Winston-Salem, NC, with 3 days onsite.
• 6+ years of experience in senior testing engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using Java and Selenium.
• Experience testing AWS-hosted applications and familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with SQL, qTest, JIRA, Dynatrace, and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, object-oriented programming, and Git.
• Experience testing multi-layered applications and using cross-platform automation frameworks.
• Background in financial services, credit card processing, or regulated environments.
