Revenue and Technical Accounting Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Remote, Manila, Philippines. Work can be performed from an office, home, or a combination of both; hiring is available in countries where hirify.global has a legal entity.

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day revenue accounting and month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Apply ASC 606 to customer contracts and evaluate unusual or complex revenue arrangements.
• Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, revenue disclosures, and supporting schedules for SEC reporting and audits.
• Reconcile billing, Oracle, and RevPro subledger data with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute and document SOX revenue controls, recommending improvements to control design and efficiency.
• Translate accounting needs into system requirements, support UAT, and lead small projects involving automation, new products, acquisitions, close efficiency, and data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or external audit.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Experience with close-process improvement or automation tools.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification.
• Big Four public accounting experience, preferably auditing technology or SaaS clients.
• Experience with SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Hands-on experience with revenue and ERP systems such as Zuora and Oracle.
• Familiarity with SOX controls and documentation.
