Focus on analyzing non-standard contracts, improving revenue accounting systems and controls, and applying AI and automation to contract analysis, memo drafting, and deal reviews.

What you will do
- Maintain and operationalize revenue accounting policies under ASC 606 and US GAAP.
- Evaluate new products, business models, complex contracts, and non-standard transactions, translating conclusions into practical guidance.
- Prepare and maintain audit-ready accounting memorandums, revenue calculations, contract assessments, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits, and support complex deal accounting during month-end and quarter-end close.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, Revenue Operations, IT, and Strategic Finance to support timely deal execution.
- Coach team members and drive AI and automation adoption for contract analysis, memo drafting, and deal review processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on SaaS or technology experience.
- Deep knowledge of software revenue recognition under ASC 606 and SaaS business models, including revenue memo writing or evaluation.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification required, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or an internationally recognized equivalent.
- Strong technical writing, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, Zuora RevPro, Workday, or similar revenue recognition and ERP systems.
- Experience supporting systems integrations or migrations, controls, audits, or SOX processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, influencing without direct authority, and coaching team members.
