TL;DR
GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer (GCP): Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable Google Cloud infrastructure with an accent on infrastructure automation, cloud security, networking, and CI/CD pipeline development. Focus on building infrastructure as code, supporting federal security compliance, troubleshooting cloud services, and optimizing deployment workflows in a high-security government environment.
Location: In-person 5 days per week in Washington, DC; Arlington, VA is also listed as an additional location. U.S. citizenship is required for the federal contract and Top Secret-level clearance.
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
- Automate, integrate, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers, security personnel, and government stakeholders on development and deployment workflows.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, maintain service-level agreements, and support cloud optimization.
- Document solutions and ensure compliance with federal security standards including FedRAMP and NIST.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level security clearance.
- 4+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years with GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Deployment Manager, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum development.
Nice to have
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts and understanding ATO processes.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
