What you will do

• Monitor international regulations, relevant standards, and consumer and industry requirements for the chemical and physical properties of materials.
• Maintain material databases, material specifications, testing instructions, and material-specific testing matrices.
• Work with Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Project Management to identify material compliance requirements.
• Plan and coordinate chemical and physical testing with internal teams and external laboratories across Europe and China.
• Track material compliance, supplier, and production-facility KPIs and support supplier performance reviews.
• Coordinate material certifications such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and collaborate with quality, legal, sales, and regional compliance teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical or scientific field.
• Initial practical experience in chemical or physical textile testing, material quality, product testing, or a related area.
• Basic understanding of material testing methods, technical specifications, and chemical or physical product safety requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify inconsistencies and potential risks in technical information.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with testing laboratories or certification organizations such as Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or TÜV.
• Knowledge of product safety documentation, technical files, risk assessment procedures, or corrective and preventive actions.
