Location: Berlin, Germany; part-time remote work is available.

What you will do

• Lead the legal department and support the professional development of legal team members.
• Advise the Executive Board, management, and subsidiaries on strategic and complex legal matters.
• Develop and implement group-wide compliance structures covering data protection, critical infrastructure, IT security, and AI regulation.
• Oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of strategically important IT contracts and optimize contract management.
• Manage external attorneys and represent company interests in M&A projects and significant legal disputes.
• Deliver legal training for specialists and managers across the group.

Requirements

• Fully qualified attorney with both German state exams.
• Several years of professional and disciplinary leadership experience in a legal team within a technical environment.
• Extensive experience in the legal department of an international IT company or in a business-focused law firm.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, IT law, and data protection law.
• Fluent German and English required for confident negotiations.
• Proactive, decisive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to balance operational and legal requirements.

Nice to have

• Specialist attorney training in IT law.
• Experience in corporate law, public procurement law, or labor law.
• Knowledge of Polish.
