Java Developer (Python, AWS)

Location: Coppell, Texas, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite

What you will do

• Develop scalable full-stack applications using Java and Python.
• Design and build microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Integrate AWS services and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Develop secure, high-performance software in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Python frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, SQL optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, authentication, authorization, and cloud-native development.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 onsite days in Coppell, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience supporting hybrid-cloud or cloud-native application deployments.
