Program Manager, AV Depot Operations (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States — onsite. Travel approximately 20–30%.

What you will do

• Partner with engineering to consolidate depot operational tools into a central hub covering KPIs, scorecards, safety, security, training, and AI-supported operational questions.
• Own connected depot programs including AI-enabled camera and video analytics, real-time alerts, vehicle log automation, and data offload.
• Tri​​age depot-reported issues, troubleshoot logs, configurations, connectivity, and integrations, and escalate systemic issues with clear reproduction details.
• Scope, pilot, measure, and roll out automation for vehicle charging, cleaning, robotics, and other depot workflows.
• Evaluate hardware and robotics vendors through time-boxed trials and make go/no-go recommendations based on performance, cost, capacity, and integration effort.
• Translate depot needs into technical requirements and explain engineering and vendor constraints to operations leaders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or technical operations in hardware, robotics, automation, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, logistics, or a comparable physical environment.
• Experience with AV fleet or depot systems, safety systems, workforce management platforms, or comparable fleet and operations systems.
• Working knowledge of system architecture across hardware, software, networks, cloud services, and data pipelines.
• Experience supporting connected hardware such as cameras, video analytics, sensors, IoT devices, charging infrastructure, or robotics.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, operational data analysis using SQL or BI tools, and KPI definition.
• Ability to write technical requirements, manage multiple cross-functional workstreams, and communicate with engineers, vendors, and frontline operations teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, EVs, fleet operations, mobility, warehouse automation, autonomous mobile robots, machine vision, automated inspection, or charging automation.
• Experience with AI-enabled operational tools or workflow automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
