Manager - Projects (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; 70% travel to customer sites is required, including mandatory travel during integration, testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate warehouse automation implementation projects, including scope, milestones, governance, communication plans, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate customers, engineering, supply chain, delivery, regional, and headquarters teams across integration, testing, deployment, and site-readiness activities.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, risks, issues, timelines, customer deliverables, and project governance processes.
• Support UAT, integration validation, ramp-up planning, go-live execution, war room activities, operational stabilization, and project handover.
• Track issues and bugs in JIRA and maintain handover, signoff, and project closure documentation in Confluence.
• Improve implementation efficiency, customer outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, electronics and communication, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, warehouse automation, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations and end-to-end delivery of warehouse automation or distribution center commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse automation systems, logistics operations, supply chain processes, and complex operational challenges.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, project management, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership.
• Ability to travel to customer sites 70% of the time, with mandatory travel during I&C, SIT, UAT, HAT, PT, go-live, and hypercare.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in operations management, project management, or a related field.
• PMI, ACP, PMP, Prince2, CSM, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with robotics, AMR, fulfillment technology, WMS, WES, WCS, software integration, and operational testing.
