R&D Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Caesarea, Israel; full-time, on-site R&D role.

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanisms, assemblies, and test rigs from concept generation through detailed design, prototyping, integration, verification, and transfer to production.
• Develop mechanical solutions incorporating motors, sensors, bearings, gears, and other precision components.
• Plan and execute mechanical tests and experiments to evaluate performance and verify engineering requirements.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, test protocols, reports, and engineering change documentation.
• Collaborate with systems, software, electronics, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams on multidisciplinary solutions.
• Assemble, integrate, troubleshoot, and test prototypes while contributing to design reviews and product improvement.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience designing complex mechanisms, assemblies, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, including assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
• Strong technical problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on approach to prototypes and hardware.
• Fluent Hebrew and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience with mechanisms containing motors, sensors, bearing systems, gears, or precision components.
• Experience designing test rigs, fixtures, or experimental setups.
• Familiarity with PLM systems, ECO/ECN processes, and Design for Manufacturing principles.
