Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Case Strategy (AI)

Location: Santa Monica, CA; Remote - US; or Williamsburg, NY. Hybrid and remote flexibility varies by role and team.

Salary: $210K–$230K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build new product experiences from 0 to 1 across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.
• Design backend systems for product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Contribute to React-based frontend applications where product quality depends on close frontend-backend iteration.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped products.
• Prototype quickly and harden successful solutions into maintainable systems.
• Improve quality and velocity through instrumentation, testing, system design, engineering hygiene, and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• Strong product-minded software engineering experience with a backend focus and full-stack capability.
• Experience building backend systems, APIs, integrations, data-heavy application logic, or workflow software.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with high ownership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across product and operational functions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, GCP, TypeScript, React Router, or Remix-style frameworks.
• Experience building AI-powered products, internal tools, or operational software.
• Experience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains.
• Experience in a startup environment where engineers help define the product.
