What you will do

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and technical solutions aligned with client expectations.
Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement Agile, Test-Driven Development, continuous integration and delivery, code reviews, and RESTful API integration within microservice architectures.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative learning culture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing large, distributed systems and 8+ years of development experience in any language, including the last 4 years focused on Java server-side applications.
Expertise in Core Java 1.8 or later.
Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful/JSON web services in a microservice architecture.
Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ.
Strong experience with messaging frameworks such as JMS and ActiveMQ.
Proficiency in Git and familiarity with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Spring JDBC Template, JPA, and Hibernate.
Understanding of in-memory distributed data storage systems such as Memcached and Hazelcast.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong desire to solve complex problems, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.

Nice to have

Experience with cloud deployments, preferably Azure.
Familiarity with Maven and IntelliJ IDEA.
Understanding of profiling tools and evaluating third-party libraries.
Experience with international software development considerations, including multilingual and multicurrency requirements.
