Strategic WFM Analyst (Workforce Management)

Location: Remote, outside the United States

Salary: $50,000–$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, certifications, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Translate multi-line-of-business demand forecasts into monthly and quarterly capacity, headcount, and budget requirements.
• Model workforce and financial trade-offs across internal employees, BPO partners, overtime, bonus hours, productivity, and shrinkage.
• Analyze demand-funnel changes, including product rollouts and AI bot deflection, and quantify their capacity and financial impact.
• Partner with Finance, Product, and Operations to validate assumptions, enforce input standards, and align staffing commitments.
• Prepare concise executive memos and Weekly Business Reviews for directors and leadership.
• Audit forecasting models, investigate deviations from capacity plans, and standardize planning frameworks across lines of business.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in workforce management fundamentals, including capacity modeling, Erlang, shrinkage, AHT, and SLA/ASA trade-offs.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to connect operational queue dynamics with hiring velocity, BPO costs, overtime spend, and SLA risk.
• Strong strategic writing skills for clear, one- to two-page decision memos.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, challenging assumptions with backtested data, and influencing Finance, Product, and Operations leaders without formal authority.
• Comfort working independently with ambiguous or incomplete data and isolating material business drivers.
