Medical Billing Specialist (North Vancouver)

Location: On-site in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; recurring hybrid work allowance available.

What you will do

• Enter and review medical billing claims accurately and efficiently.
• Apply diagnostic and procedure codes in accordance with billing guidelines.
• Process electronic and paper claim submissions.
• Review remittance advice and identify discrepancies, denials, or missing information.
• Correct claims, support reconciliation activities, and maintain accurate billing-system documentation.
• Take on additional claim follow-up and reconciliation responsibilities as experience grows.

Requirements

• Manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort using computer tools and systems.
• Ability to work independently with strong organization and accountability.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

• Experience in the medical field, medical transcription, or medical administration.
