Director, US IT Asset Management

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid with 2 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Lead the regional IT Asset Management strategy and operating model in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Oversee hardware and software asset lifecycle management, from planning and acquisition through deployment, maintenance, refresh, and retirement.
• Lead ITAM teams, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives while coaching and developing team members.
• Partner with enterprise stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to align priorities and support strategic outcomes.
• Strengthen governance, inventory accuracy, compliance, reporting, risk visibility, budget management, and technology asset optimization.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of related experience in IT Asset Management or technology leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with hardware and software asset lifecycle practices in large, complex, preferably regulated environments.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field, or relevant certifications and experience.
• Expert knowledge of banking products, services, industry regulations, and emerging technology trends.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, relationship management, networking, risk management, and compliance skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid work or study permit where applicable are required.
