New Accounts Administrator (Financial Services)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; work at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD $26.00–$30.00 per hour

Fidelity Clearing Canada provides trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support services to Canadian brokerage firms and Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.-based firms.

What you will do

• Open and review new accounts in the Dataphile environment in a timely manner.
• Support account lifecycle and client maintenance activities across multiple systems.
• Manage routine and complex account updates while ensuring documents are complete and in good order.
• Apply internal, regulatory, and industry requirements with strong risk awareness.
• Identify account deficiencies and provide clear instructions to clients.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with non-registered accounts, including cash, margin, and joint accounts.
• Familiarity with registered accounts, including RRSPs, TFSAs, and RESPs.
• Strong MS Excel skills, attention to detail, communication, and time management abilities.
• Current authorization to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of or experience in the brokerage industry.
• Completion of or enrolment in a financial services program such as CSC.
• Verbal and written proficiency in French and English.
