OS&D Account Manager II

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule

Salary: $54,000–$67,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Manage delivery exceptions and resolve operational issues across freight operations.
• Work with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to reach effective resolutions.
• Own core account metrics and goals across account management teams.
• Develop process and system improvements that increase team efficiency and execution quality.
• Identify actionable trends and reduce the business impact of delivery incidents.
• Collaborate with the product team on hirify.global’s future vision and communicate that vision to customers.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience solving complex problems, proposing unique solutions, and providing high-quality customer support.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, decision-making, and sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information and communicate priorities clearly.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Nice to have

• Experience working with shipper and carrier partners.
• Knowledge of cargo risk and security, carrier or shipper fraud, compliance, or safety in logistics.
• Experience in a high-growth technology environment.
