Freight Audit Program Manager, New College Grad - Bachelor's (Austin, TX) (Logistics)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Review and audit parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean, and air freight invoices against contracted rates, tariffs, and agreed terms.
• Validate accessorial charges, identify duplicate or unauthorized invoices, and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
• Manage carrier billing inquiries and disputes through structured resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Generate recurring reports on freight spend, billing accuracy, exceptions, and carrier performance.
• Analyze logistics data, support accruals and reconciliation, and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
• Support carrier onboarding, rate validation, system enhancements, SOP development, and process governance with Logistics Procurement and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data, identify trends, and support recommendations.
• Effective communication with cross-functional teams and external business partners.
• Ability to learn new systems, tools, and business processes quickly.
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and related productivity tools.

Nice to have

• Exposure to transportation management systems, ERP platforms such as SAP, and freight audit tools.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, freight audit, transportation, warehousing, or process improvement.
