Staff Product Manager (Storage & Edge Data)

Location: Hybrid role with preferred office locations in San Francisco, Denver, or New York City, United States

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for hirify.global Object Storage and edge data products, including KV Store, Config Store, and Secret Store.
• Partner with product, engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to deliver consistent platform capabilities and drive product growth.
• Research customer use cases across industry segments and translate findings into clear product requirements.
• Define and monitor data-driven success metrics for storage and edge data products.
• Evaluate storage infrastructure and vendor tradeoffs across performance, cost, and reliability.
• Lead distributed cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of product management experience, preferably with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud storage, data infrastructure, networking, or security.
• Familiarity with object storage, S3-compatible APIs, or key-value and data store technologies.
• Ability to create product roadmaps, make strategic tradeoffs, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from San Francisco, Denver, or New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience building cloud services and applications in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with real-time protocols, low-latency storage, data migration tooling, storage vendor management, or vendor negotiation.
• Experience driving product adoption through product analytics.
