Internal Controls Advisor

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and enhancement of enterprise-wide Control Self-Monitoring programs and systems.
• Advise business partners on internal controls, risk management, compliance, and CSM best practices.
• Lead onboarding and readiness assessments for new CSM customers and create tailored implementation strategies.
• Direct cross-functional project teams, managing delivery timelines, budgets, and complex operational requirements.
• Improve CSM system reliability through proactive support, issue resolution, process optimization, and clearer guidance documentation.
• Develop decision-support analysis and performance metrics, and support audit remediation and internal control optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least six years of experience in financial systems analysis, public accounting, audit, engineering, operations, or information systems.
• Strong project management, organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Control Self-Monitoring platforms and tools, business software, and web technologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Miami, Florida, and complete domestic and international travel.
