Lead Integration Architect, Finance Systems Automation

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; on-site presence required

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Workday integration efforts for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Architect, develop, deploy, and document scalable integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, middleware, file transfer, and database tools.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, business analysts, project teams, and external vendors to analyze requirements and align integration solutions with business needs.
• Oversee integration planning, budgeting, staffing, testing, release, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy and fault tolerance.
• Mentor junior consultants and developers while advising project managers and stakeholders on technical decisions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services using SOAP and REST, XML, and XSLT.
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Financials, ERP, HCM, or EPM systems.
• Experience with middleware, API management, third-party integration tools such as Mulesoft or Jitterbit, and SQL database tools.
• 7–10 years of experience working with integration platforms, preferably in consulting environments or large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Workday Integration or Studio certification, experience with Java or .NET, testing methodologies, SDLC, and structured release and deployment practices.
