Sr. IT Compliance Analyst (SOX)

Location: Onsite in Coralville, Iowa or Fargo, North Dakota, United States; the position is also eligible for a remote work arrangement from home. Travel required up to 10%.

Annual salary: $117,000–$155,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead IT General Controls execution across user access management and change management, including Change Advisory Board participation, and maintain audit-ready evidence.
• Maintain IT-GRC policies, procedures, and documentation while coordinating updates with policy owners.
• Lead vendor management and Third-Party Risk Assessment activities, including annual reviews and customer questionnaires.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning, execution support, documentation, gap identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and remediation tracking.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits; present compliance, risk, audit, and remediation results to senior stakeholders and escalate issues with proposed solutions.
• Provide peer support and train and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of experience working on a GRC team or in a related technical discipline.
• Experience working with or supporting Change Management and participating in a Change Advisory Board (CAB).
• 5+ years of experience working in or supporting User Access Management.
• At least 5 years of experience working with compliance and governance standards including SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and general compliance.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Nice to have

• Experience creating or developing programs to bridge or eliminate organizational gaps.
• Experience using continuous improvement methods and frameworks to identify improvements and create efficiency in GRC.
• Experience supporting Third-Party Risk Management activities involving risk assessments and compliance-gap analysis.
