Wire Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote within AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WV. Hybrid option: Denver, Colorado, with office attendance 1–2 days per week. Start time no later than 7:30 a.m. MT; relocation is not provided.

Salary: $22.75–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Open more than 30 new client accounts per day and close accounts as required.
• Apply incoming wired funds, investigate unapplied funds, and support confirmation of wiring instructions.
• Initiate more than 30 outgoing wires per day, including individual wires exceeding $50 million, and serve as a backup wire approver.
• Prepare outgoing checks, pull client fees, and respond to client questions with supporting documentation.
• Work with five banking partners and the Operations team to resolve issues and ensure funds are properly accounted for.
• Perform daily master bank reconciliations, end-of-day balance reporting, and support disbursement policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in finance, banking, accounting, or a similar industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including filtering, sorting, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data comparison.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical standards.
• Remote candidates must reside in one of the listed U.S. states; hybrid candidates must attend the Denver office 1–2 days per week.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work for extended periods at a computer.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Real estate experience or familiarity with 1031 exchanges.
• Experience wiring funds and confirming wiring instructions.
