Co-op Technical Writer (ERP)

Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD$22.50–CAD$27.50 per hour for roles performed in Ontario and British Columbia.

What you will do

• Write and maintain Service Release and Hot Fix Notes for end users.
• Document changes across homebuilding ERP modules, including Accounting, Production, Sales, Payroll, Scheduling, Workflow, and Reporting.
• Identify documentation gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Create and format clear, user-focused content that supports effective product use.
• Track documentation from initial creation through approval and final release.
• Support the software business with additional documentation responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn ERP applications quickly and analyze and synthesize information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience or ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Comfort using Azure DevOps and willingness to apply AI tools to improve documentation workflows.
