Facility Security Officer

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; onsite facility role. Only U.S. citizens are eligible, and an active or eligible Top Secret clearance is required.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage security professionals while overseeing the facility security program.
• Manage classified areas, operations, information systems, materials, accountability records, and controlled unclassified information.
• Conduct internal security self-inspections and coordinate DCSA and customer security reviews and audits.
• Prepare and maintain DD254s, classified-area documentation, FOCI mitigation materials, and related security records.
• Manage personnel clearance processing, visitor control, security investigations, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training records.
• Investigate security incidents, coordinate reports to external agencies, and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Department of Defense security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 8 years of security-relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, DCSA processes, FOCI restrictions, and DCSA-directed agreements.
• Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, e-QIP, SWFT, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret DoD regulations, produce policies and procedures, communicate effectively, and work accurately with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• DoD FOCI-related security experience.
• Experience performing COMSEC duties, including inventory and disposition.
• Experience compiling and analyzing data and statistics.
