Senior Java Developer (iGaming)

Location: Bulgaria, Sofia; 100% work from home or work from one of the global offices

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend systems for slot games.
• Implement game logic covering reels, paylines, bonus features, RNG integration, and payout calculations.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs with gaming platforms and external services.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, debugging, and code quality.
• Collaborate with game developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver new games and features.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Java and backend development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on slot game development experience; real-money iGaming experience is preferred, while experience only in social or casual games is insufficient.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Experience with gaming mathematics, RTP, game fairness, performance optimization, debugging, and automated testing.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good communication, problem-solving skills, initiative, and drive.

• Experience with regulated iGaming environments.
