Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex or immediate relocation, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite per week at the Frisco, Texas AI Hub

Salary: $73,440–$139,680 annually for U.S. locations. Other ranges apply in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, and Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Build and iterate custom AI solutions using generative AI and agentic AI frameworks.
• Own delivery from scoping through production deployment as part of customer delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Document deployment learnings, share best practices, and contribute feedback and code to hirify.global's AI platforms.
• Continue developing technical and consulting skills while adapting to emerging technologies and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable proficiency in Python or another modern language such as C#, Node, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, Git, GitHub, Pandas, and Spark.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google AI and distributed computing architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with diverse stakeholders, including executives.
• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel and work on customer premises, with required onsite attendance in Frisco, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or open-source AI tools.
• Experience designing or integrating multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Practical knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation and structured or unstructured knowledge systems.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and security for scalable AI systems.
• Broad understanding across AI/ML, cloud, and consulting with deep expertise in one or two domains.
