Associate, Information Security Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus program

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve information security governance frameworks in line with hirify.global risk management practices.
• Perform identity and access management risk assessments, includhirify.global high-privilege access reviews and control assessments across business and technology assets.
• Assess compliance with information security policies, regulatory requirements, control standards, and external audit expectations.
• Track security findhirify.globals, issues, exceptions, and remediation progress while develophirify.global management reports, dashboards, risk metrics, and governance updates.
• Support cybersecurity measures and initiatives includhirify.global IAM, change management, automation, third-party assessments, enterprise AI governance, regulatory remediation, and security monitorhirify.global.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and the second line of defense to align security and business priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, Identity and Access Management, cyber compliance, IT Audit, DevSecOps, or Frontier AI.
• Familiarity with non-financial risk models and threat assessments.
• Demonstrated experience with information security controls, includhirify.global secure IAM toolhirify.global, systems security, encryption systems, and application security.
• Deep knowledge and experience in security and regulatory compliance, external audits, and information security standards and procedures.
• Analytical ability to solve complex business and technical problems, communicate with senior management and information technology subject-matter experts, and educate stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, accurately, and accordhirify.global to plan in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Information Security Specialists and Senior Management and challenge security programs and the second line of defense when required.
• Ability to stay current with new information security tools and technologies and continuously develop technical expertise.

Nice to have

• CISM certification.
• Certified in Cyber Security certification from ISC2.
