Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York area; open to working in office

Annual salary: $222,000–$272,000 USD, plus benefits, potential equity, and potential bonus.

What you will do

• Lead ambitious design initiatives from problem definition through product launch.
• Design end-to-end experiences across a complex, data-dense platform.
• Conduct research and translate field insights into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Product, and Business Development leadership to define scope and priorities.
• Lead design critiques and establish a compelling product narrative.
• Mentor designers and help shape design systems, asset libraries, and design practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading design for complex software products; candidates with fewer years are encouraged to apply if they meet the other requirements.
• Exceptional interaction design, visual design, and design thinking skills.
• Ability to turn complex problems into intuitive workflows while maintaining product quality and polish.
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing beyond the immediate team.
• Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, and Origami.
• Located in the San Francisco or New York area and open to working in office.
