Principal Product Manager, Orbit (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Base salary: $203,200–$345,600 USD annually for United States residents

What you will do

• Define Orbit's multi-year vision and roadmap for graph models, ontology, ingestion, indexing, query and retrieval, developer and agent interfaces, governance, and enterprise readiness.
• Shape Orbit across hirify.global.com, Self-Managed, Dedicated, hirify.global Duo Agent Platform, MCP-based external agents, APIs, and developer tooling.
• Partner with Engineering and Design on architecture and implementation trade-offs involving data models, indexing, APIs, authorization, reliability, and scale.
• Lead discovery with developers, platform and security teams, engineering leaders, technical executives, and customers to validate use cases and guide investment decisions.
• Define target customers, positioning, packaging, pricing, launch, adoption, expansion, and product-market fit in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Track adoption, retention, usage, customer value, and revenue outcomes; align executives and mentor product managers without relying on direct authority.

Requirements

• Experience owning complex technical products or platforms at Staff, Principal, or equivalent scope across multiple teams.
• Deep technical fluency in developer tools, DevOps, software delivery, data platforms, distributed systems, knowledge graphs, search, APIs, AI infrastructure, or agentic systems.
• Ability to work credibly with engineers on architecture, data models, APIs, scale, reliability, and security.
• Experience with product strategy, market assessment, pricing, packaging, business cases, or commercialization of technical products.
• Experience taking a product, platform, or category from early concept through launch, adoption, and iteration.
• Practical experience using AI tools to explore code and data, prototype workflows, and create or review merge requests.
