AI Developer Intern

hirify.global operates a small, fast-moving AI team building production systems that combine software engineering with AI capabilities.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Python services and APIs supporting AI agent systems and automation workflows.
• Develop and test agent capabilities, including tool integrations, data pipelines, and multi-step workflows.
• Improve evaluation, metrics, and guardrails for autonomous agents.
• Integrate data sources, services, and APIs into agent execution environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, developer tooling, and documentation.
• Debug, investigate, and fix issues across the stack while learning new tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of version control, testing, code review, and structured debugging.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend concepts, and terminal or CLI environments.
• Curiosity about AI and machine learning, including a basic intuition for how LLMs work.
• Self-driven problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, well-tested code.

Nice to have

• JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, or RAG.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts, embeddings, model evaluation, or computer vision.
• Experience with GCP or AWS, robotics, industrial automation, or AI-assisted development tools.
