Fixed Income - Institutional Portfolio Manager - Asia (Fixed Income)

What you will do

• Represent fixed income portfolio teams in engagements with institutional clients, prospects, consultants, gatekeepers, and other marketplace stakeholders across Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
• Explain investment philosophy, processes, portfolio strategy, asset-class perspectives, and positioning.
• Bring client feedback, market trends, competitive insights, and regional developments into the Fixed Income Investment organization.
• Prepare investment teams for client engagements and develop clear investment value propositions and collateral.
• Collaborate with Product, RFP, distribution, and investment teams on client deliverables, strategic initiatives, business planning, and new investment capabilities.
• Contribute to investment strategy discussions, thought leadership, and the development and sharing of IPM best practices.

Requirements

• Ideally 7+ years of experience communicating and collaborating with sophisticated institutional asset owners, consultants, and gatekeepers.
• Strong ability to explain investment processes, strategy viewpoints, and portfolio positioning within a global macroeconomic framework.
• Broad knowledge of global and regional fixed income markets, macroeconomic environments, and institutional investment management trends.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing investment communication skills, with the ability to tailor discussions to audiences with varying levels of investment knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships and execute strategic priorities with organizational stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Asia and Australia/New Zealand, as well as to investment offices in London and Boston.
