Middle DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud Platform)

Location: Portugal, Albania, Hungary, or Czech Republic; flexible home/office work schedule.

What you will do

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, testing, and monitoring in Google Cloud using scripts and modern CI/CD practices.
• Build dashboards, logging, alerting, and incident responses for proactive production monitoring.
• Develop destructive tests and improve the resilience, scalability, security, and performance of production systems.
• Provide application support, triage high-priority incidents, and monitor service-level objectives and production capacity.
• Collaborate with UX, engineering, and product management to deliver secure and reliable software and integrations.
• Document architectures, support security and technology audits, and maintain quality and change-control standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Puppet, and scripting.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting Magento 2 projects.
• Experience installing, configuring, and optimizing web servers such as Nginx.
• Administration and tuning of MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Varnish.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, shell scripting, SSL configuration, backup and recovery, and database encryption strategies.
• Ability to work from Portugal, Albania, Hungary, or Czech Republic.
