Research Assistant - Population Science

Location: Boston, MA, US; onsite with occasional remote work

Salary: $38,000–$46,900 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate project activities, including surveys, interviews, and work at internal and external study sites.
• Contact, recruit, and enroll research participants.
• Support intervention and evaluation logistics, including equipment setup, food service, and meeting room scheduling.
• Prepare project meetings, record minutes, and maintain project documentation and databases.
• Coordinate pilot testing, conduct literature searches and reviews, and support institutional review board communications.
• Protect the security and confidentiality of study materials and data.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability, motivation, and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Computer skills, including prior experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone with diverse patients, community members, clinicians, researchers, children, and parents.
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends.
• Experience or education in public health, health policy, natural sciences, or social sciences is preferred; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
