Coding Supervisor, ASC

Location: Fully remote

Provider of revenue cycle management solutions for ambulatory surgery centers, surgical clinics, surgical hospitals, and anesthesia groups.

What you will do

• Manage client service-level agreements and coordinate coding needs with other revenue cycle functions.
• Plan monthly, weekly, and daily production queues and allocate resources according to operational needs.
• Manage projects, including resource planning, scope execution, risk management, and escalations.
• Monitor coding quality, identify root causes, and implement resolutions for team quality challenges.
• Ensure coding compliance with productivity standards and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Research complex coder queries, contribute to performance management, and lead new-hire training.

Requirements

• AAPC or AHIMA certification required, such as CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P.
• Five to seven years of medical coding, billing, and management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and familiarity with anesthesia or surgical coding preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees and clients at all levels.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel.
