What you will do

• Maintain accurate financial, regulatory, and management reporting for applicable ING entities.
• Own the quality and reliability of Dutch Head-Office consolidated financial and ECB regulatory reporting.
• Review balance sheet, income statement, and off-balance-sheet variance analyses and prepare detailed commentary.
• Research and support the implementation of new accounting guidance affecting reporting.
• Implement and improve internal controls over financial reporting, data quality, and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Front Office, IT, and internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with financial reporting under IFRS within the banking sector.
• Experience accounting and reporting for repurchase agreements, securities borrowing and lending, loans, derivatives, equities, and bonds.
• Knowledge of EU regulatory reporting, accounting policies, and FINREP.
• Experience defining reporting requirements for financial system changes, testing implementations, and working with IT teams.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, financial data reconciliation, variance analysis, audit liaison, and reporting control frameworks.
