Structured Notes Platform Development & Automation Associate / Vice President (Fintech)

Location: Boadilla del Monte / Madrid, Spain; hybrid working with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Design and deliver platform enhancements for structured-notes issuance, including process maps, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Build scalable front-to-back processes covering pre-trade, documentation, issuance, booking, settlement, regulatory reporting, and lifecycle events.
• Coordinate Product Owners, Technology, Operations, external providers, and other stakeholders across backlogs, dependencies, testing, defects, and releases.
• Develop document-generation and data-driven workflows for term sheets, legal and issuance documentation, regulatory outputs, and management information.
• Define connectivity requirements with distributors, market infrastructures, and open multidealer platforms, including SPIRE.
• Lead business analysis, end-to-end and user-acceptance testing, controlled deployments, production monitoring, remediation, and user adoption.

Requirements

• Experience in capital markets technology, business analysis, platform development, process transformation, securities issuance, or a comparable function.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and delivering technology, workflow, or automation initiatives in a regulated financial-services environment.
• Understanding of structured products, derivatives, and front-to-back securities issuance processes, including MTN and repack structures.
• Strong business-analysis, process-design, project-delivery, data-governance, and analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.
• High professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with structured-note issuance, documentation platforms, distributor connectivity, multidealer platforms, or lifecycle processes.
• Experience with workflow automation, APIs or file-based connectivity, document generation, data governance, testing, and production implementation within Markets.
• Postgraduate qualification in technology, data, engineering, finance, project management, or capital markets.
• Professional proficiency in German, Italian, French, or Spanish.
