Engineer | RVPR (AI)

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hybrid schedule required: in-office Tuesday through Thursday and fully remote Monday and Friday.

What you will do

• Research and prototype next-generation solutions using TypeScript, NextJS, and Python.
• Experiment with AI frameworks, tools, and architectures, building proof-of-concepts with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, and large language models.
• Design and implement experimental services and APIs for future product innovations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn research findings into technical strategies.
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes using Terraform, AWS CDK, and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive technical discovery through coding, measurement, analysis, and validation of ambiguous ideas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in React and React Native with TypeScript.
• Understanding of Python.
• Solid experience with API development.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.
• Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and large language models.
• Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous problems and manage uncertainty using agile principles.
