Salesforce Developer (UI/UX)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with three days per week in person and residence within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub required.

What you will do

• Audit Salesforce Lightning record pages, console apps, list views, and home pages to identify friction in rep workflows.
• Define a prioritised UI improvement roadmap tied to sales productivity and adoption.
• Design, prototype, and validate improved layouts, workflows, and components with sales representatives and managers.
• Develop custom Lightning Web Components with supporting Apex, and configure App Builder, Dynamic Forms, Dynamic Actions, console apps, and Flows.
• Build reusable components following SLDS conventions and collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Data, admins, and architects.
• Run usability tests and pilots, track adoption and performance, and prepare release notes, walkthroughs, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Strong production experience building Lightning Web Components.
• Solid knowledge of Apex, SOQL, the Salesforce data model, Lightning Experience customisation, and Sales Cloud workflows.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD or deployment processes.
• UX-oriented approach with the ability to explain design decisions and work with non-technical users.
• Portfolio or examples of shipped Salesforce UI work, plus clear communication and independent work across time zones.
• English is the official language at the office.

Nice to have

• Experience with SLDS, Figma or similar prototyping tools, and WCAG accessibility principles.
• Jest testing for LWC and Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, or Platform App Builder.
• Experience with Lightning page performance profiling and optimisation.
