Director, Integrity and Compliance

Location: Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco; office work is expected 4+ days per week under hirify.global’s “default together” policy.

Base salary: $303,000–$455,000 annually in Zone A; other U.S. pay zones range from $258,000–$432,000 annually. The position is also eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Lead the global Integrity & Compliance program, including strategy, priorities, operating model, and continuous improvement.
• Manage compliance leaders and teams across enterprise compliance, business conduct, controls, investigations, training, and related areas.
• Oversee anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk management, investigations, trade and sanctions compliance, and policy governance.
• Lead enterprise risk assessments, monitoring, controls mapping, metrics, dashboards, and reporting for executives, the Board, and the Audit Committee.
• Own governance for the management-level Risk and Compliance Committee and coordinate compliance due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions.
• Advise senior leaders and business teams on practical solutions for identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• 10+ years of experience in public company compliance, legal, investigations, trade compliance, product safety compliance, or related corporate risk functions.
• Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk, investigations, trade or sanctions, policy governance, records retention, corporate ethics, and enterprise compliance program design.
• Experience developing or enhancing risk-based compliance programs in a global or multinational environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams or complex compliance workstreams across multiple risk areas.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, judgment, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience advising senior business leaders and Board members in technology, media, platform, or global consumer-facing companies.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs.
• Experience with third-party diligence, employee disclosure, case-management, risk, or compliance training platforms.
• Experience leading investigations, anti-bribery, third-party risk, policy governance, controls, or enterprise risk-assessment functions.
