Senior Product Manager (Data Security for AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; most teams work from the office full time

Base salary: $153,000–$247,500 per year, with potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Own data security for AI traffic, including detection coverage, accuracy, and integration with Prisma AIRS.
• Define and develop data classification and protection capabilities for prompts, responses, retrieved context, and agent tool calls.
• Prioritize features and balance detection coverage, false positives, and latency budgets.
• Lead market analysis, requirements development, business cases, product strategy, and positioning.
• Engage customers through executive briefings, product evangelism, and technical requirements gathering.
• Partner with engineering, sales, design partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technical product management, development, or enterprise services.
• Strong expertise in data security, including DLP, data classification, DSPM, CASB, or data governance.
• Working knowledge of AI application architectures, LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, and agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI security frameworks and threats, including OWASP for LLM, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF.
• Ability to quantitatively evaluate detection systems and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MBA degree.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations.
